Case study

Two national sales meetings, zero printed agendas

A national consumer-goods company used Novagenda to replace personalized printed agendas with live ones on every attendee’s phone. After the first event in June, they came back for their second in September.

The challenge

Every attendee had their own schedule: different sessions, rooms and times. In the past that meant building and printing a personalized agenda for each person to carry with their name tag. The organizer estimates that work at about 20 hours.

And once the agendas were printed, any change on the day was a problem. A moved session or a new room meant wondering who was holding the wrong version.

Live agendas instead of printouts

Attendees opened their personalized agenda in the browser, with no app to download. When something changed, the organizers updated it once and everyone saw the new version right away. Nothing to reprint, and no wondering whether people had the latest schedule.

Q&A the speakers could actually use

Attendees sent questions for the guest speakers from their phones. Moderators hid questions once they were answered and kept the unanswered ones visible, so none were lost. After each session, the questions that didn’t get to the stage were still there for follow-up.

A poll the whole room watched

The live poll ran on the main screen, so the room watched the results move as votes came in. It turned a quick question into a shared moment.

Set up for each event

The second meeting added features the first didn’t need: call-outs for award nominees and a welcome video from the company’s GM.
